Healthwatch Leicester and Leicestershire, together with Healthwatch Rutland, have now heard from over 2,000 women and girls through their Every Woman’s Health Matters survey and are urging more people to take part before the survey closes on 31 March 2026.

Patients registered with Latham House Medical Practice are being encouraged to share their feedback by completing a short patient survey. The survey asks patients to reflect on their experiences of accessing and using GP services at Latham House.

Healthwatch Leicester and Leicestershire (HWLL) welcomes the publication of the latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection report on the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) community-based mental health services for adults of working age, which was rated ‘Requires improvement overall’ with ‘Good’ ratings for Safe, Effective and Caring and ‘Requires improvement’ for Responsive and Well-led. The Supervised Toothbrushing video explains the Supervised Toothbrushing programme which has been running in Leicester since 2015.

We have published a new Enter and View report sharing what people told us about Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafés across Leicester and Leicestershire.

Our latest insight report explores the experiences of people living in supported living accommodation, alongside the views of their carers and families.
The report, ‘Your voices matter: Experiences of people in Supported Living’, brings together feedback from 50 people including 31 individuals using supported living services and 19 carers. Through visits, conversations and surveys, we heard directly about what is working well and where improvements are needed.

The Roving Healthcare Unit is available for free walk-in vaccines. It has published its schedule for December and January.

The public health team in Leicester is currently running two surveys to find out about the impact of social isolation and loneliness in men and want to hear from local organisations and individual men.

Leicestershire County Council is developing a new Carers’ Strategy for Leicestershire’s adult carers to set out how the council will work with partners to support unpaid carers needs. The new strategy will be launched in early 2026.
