The report brings forward the often unheard voices of ethnic communities across Leicester and Leicestershire, including Punjabi, Bangladeshi, Gujarati, and Pakistani communities, encompassing both men and women.

Healthwatch Leicester, Healthwatch Leicestershire and Healthwatch Rutland visited the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) – The Beacon Unit at Glenfield Hospital to gather young people’s views and experiences of the service provided and to observe the environment and operation of the facility.

Healthwatch Leicester and Healthwatch Leicestershire are inviting members of the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community to share their experiences of accessing local health and social care services. We want to hear your voice.
It’s been over a decade since our last major engagement with the Deaf community, when we published a joint report in partnership with the Leicester Deaf Forum and British Deaf Association in 2014. Since then, health and care services have undergone significant changes and now, more than ever, we need to understand the current challenges and opportunities for Deaf people in our area.
