CQC's assessments of local authorities: developing our future approach
The Care Quality Commission is looking at how local authorities are meeting their adult social care duties under Part 1 of the Care Act (2014).
They are currently assessing all 153 local authorities with adult social care duties to establish a baseline of quality and are publishing their findings on the website Local authority assessment reports - Care Quality Commission
