The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has published a report on Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust’s specialist community mental health services for children and young people, rating them as ‘Good’ following an unannounced inspection in November 2025.
Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board (LLR ICB) is pleased to welcome the national announcement that Hinckley Health Centre has been confirmed as one of the first 27 neighbourhood health centres to be rolled out across England, helping to bring more joined‑up care closer to people’s homes.
From 1 April 2026, people registered with GP practices in Leicestershire will be able to access new and improved same-day GP appointments during evenings, weekends and bank holidays. These appointments are designed to make it easier for people to get urgent help for non-life-threatening health concerns, with more appointments, longer consultation times and consistent availability across the county.
